Prodige

Benefiting from the expertise of professional Buffet Crampon oboists, the Prodige models meet the most demanding needs of beginners

Flexibility

My first Buffet Crampon The new Prodige Student Oboe features major technical, aesthetic and acoustic improvements that will enable beginners and experienced players alike to make rapid progress.

Intense research and development, carried out in close collaboration with the teachers, has resulted in an instrument with accurate, easily controllable bass notes and smooth octave changes. The emission of sound and the constant flow of air are easier to master, right from the first years of study. The resin lining of the bore drastically reduces the risk of splitting, without affecting the sound qualities of this oboe, whose body remains made of traditional African blackwood (Dalbergia Melanoxylon). Oboists will be won over by the perfect evenness of the acoustics of this instrument, whose tone is very close to that of a professional instrument.
