[Japan] Recruitment: Woodwind Instrument Technician – Technical Support

Position

Job Description

General technical support duties and other related duties

(Scope of change) The position may be reassigned to other duties designated by the company.

As a woodwind instrument technician at Buffet Crampon Japan, you will be responsible primarily for quality control and quality improvement of our brands’ products in the Japanese market, as well as after-sales service.

This is an important position that ensures our customers receive high-quality products and services through the inspection and quality assessment of instruments arriving from our factories, as well as repair and technical support.

You will also undertake a wide range of responsibilities, including working with our headquarters in France and overseas factories to improve quality in accordance with global standards, providing technical support to renowned artists from Japan and abroad, and offering technical assistance at exhibitions and events.

To provide appropriate after-sales service to customers throughout Japan, you will assess the current technical support framework—both within and outside the company, including authorized dealer technicians and external technical service providers—identify its challenges, consider the desired future structure, and develop concrete plans. As necessary, you will promote the sharing and standardization of technical information and establish effective methods of collaboration, thereby helping to build a sustainable service framework.

As a core member of the department, you will also be expected to take an active role in quality improvement, the sharing and standardization of technical information, and departmental operations, and to use your experience to lead new reforms.
