One name, one sound.

Of all the people who have marked the history of Buffet Crampon, Robert Carrée is undoubtedly one of the most important. He dedicated his career to perfecting wind instruments from both an acoustic and mechanical point of view. Father creator of legendary instruments, he revolutionized the world of the clarinet with the development of the poly-cylindrical bore.

A safe bet

The RC model, still a world standard today, was redesigned in 2014 taking advantage of the last 10 years of acoustic research and development. The overall intonation of the instrument has been updated to meet the ever-increasing demands of the modern artist. Its warm and centered tone, its homogeneity and its increased projection, will give complete satisfaction to professionals and those wishing to evolve in the high-end segment.
