Currently English horn soloist and oboist with the National Symphony Orchestra of Taiwan, Shih-Han Sun is an accomplished musician. She graduated from the National University of the Arts in Taipei with a Bachelor's degree, and continued her studies in Germany at the Hochschule für Musik in Freiburg, where she obtained a Master's degree.
In 2011, Shih-Han Sun joined the Asian Youth Orchestra, selected from among many outstanding young talents, and took part in the orchestra's concert tour. Two years later, in 2013, she was one of the finalists in the competition organized by the Asian Double Reed Association.
In 2016, at the prestigious Muri Competition, among 296 participants, Shih-Han Sun stood out and shone with her exceptional talent.
