On 8 September 2025, the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées hosted a truly singular evening: the concert celebrating 200 years of Buffet Crampon.

Before an audience of 1,825, two generations of musicians came together for one night to celebrate our bicentenary. On stage, the great figures who have shaped the history of our instruments stood alongside the talents now writing its next chapter: legends and rising stars, gathered under one roof.

A legendary venue, an exceptional line-up, and a programme that mirrored two centuries of history: from the classical works of Vivaldi, Brahms and Ravel to the jazz of Anat Cohen, from Michel Legrand covers to the electronic sound of Daft Punk.

Martin Fröst, Nicolas Baldeyrou, Anat Cohen, Hélène Devilleneuve, Carlos Ferreira, Romain Guyot, Florent Héau, Marcello Gonçalves, the Band of the Garde Républicaine and many more took to the stage in turn. In the audience, among the public, sat the artisans from our workshops, the very people who shape these instruments every day, watching them come to life in the hands of the greatest.

A living testament that what we build is passed on, from one generation to the next.
